Hi! I’m Paige. The founder and dreamer behind Jingle Bell Joy. One of my favorite parts of being a mom is creating and experiencing magical moments through my kids’ eyes. While everything in their world is advancing – gadgets, games, apps, etc., I find myself holding on to simpler, uncomplicated moments of wonder more and more. For example, it’s surprising my son on his birthday with a giant number 5 made entirely out of his HotWheels® cars on the kitchen table. Or it’s waking them up in the middle of a summer night to catch fireflies in their pj’s. These aren’t complicated surprises, but these type of moments light my heart on fire!
What does that have to do with jingle bells you ask?
Well, fortunately, a select group of elves called the Jingle Bell Elves must have known that about me too (wink, wink.) One Christmas several years ago when our daughter was almost three, we received our first Jingle Bell Jar and a letter from these elves. We were told she would find a special Believe Bell every morning until Christmas Eve to collect for Santa and fill the jar. As a busy working mom with a second child on the way, I welcomed this unique and simple tradition. Our short evenings and hurried mornings didn’t need to be more complicated so this was a great holiday activity for us. We enjoyed seeing my daughter’s face light up every morning as she discovered another bell. When our jar began to fill, so did her excitement for Christmas day.
Fast forward a few years and now both children anticipate hunting for Believe Bells every December. My whole family is especially excited this year as the Jingle Bell Elves have asked us to spread the word and find other families to collect Believe Bells for Santa. We’ve had a lot of fun over the years with our special elves and hope that your family will enjoy this simple and unique holiday tradition too!
